The USB+AUX Cable connects an iPod to the Sync media system available in selected Ford, Mercury, and Lincoln vehicles.

Once the iPod is connected to the Sync media system...

• iPod content is displayed on the screen
  of the Sync media system
• the iPod can be externally controlled
  by the Sync media system
• the iPod charges while connected
  (when the vehicle is running)

Some versions of the Ford Sync system provide RCA jacks instead of an AUX jack. The USB+AUX cable is not compatible with these vehicles.
